Fellow citizens, the UAE has passed through an important stage in its modern history. We have come a long way in building our nation, strengthening its foundations, and achieving political, economic, social and cultural empowerment. We are now in a new stage in which our nation is continuing to establish its position in both regional and international arenas. This stage requires every citizen to do their best and cooperate with their fellow citizens in order for our progress and development to continue and for our nation to be among the greatest in the world. 

Therefore, we need to summon our determination and strength, address the challenges we face and ensure that we pass our nation’s flag to the next generation with pride and dignity, having preserved the heritage entrusted to us by our forefathers, thanks to the wisdom of our leadership and the unity of our citizens.

لقد مرت دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة بمرحلة مهمة في تاريخها الحديث استطاعت خلالها أن تقطع أشواطا مهمة على طريق بناء الدولة ووضع أسسها وترسيخ قواعدها كما انطلقت في مرحلة أخرى من أجل تحقيق التمكين السياسي والاقتصادي والاجتماعي والثقافي ونحن الآن بصدد مرحلة جديدة تنطلق خلالها الدولة من أجل دعم وترسيخ مكانتها على الساحتين الإقليمية والدولية وتعزيز دورها كلاعب إقليمي ودولي مهم وفاعل ولا غنى عنه في مواجهة القضايا الإقليمية والدولية وهي مرحلة تتطلب أن يبذل الجميع في الدولة أقصى ما يمكن من جهد وأن يتعاون الجميع من أجل أن تستمر مسيرة تقدم هذا الوطن الغالي وتطوره ونهوضه ووضعه في المكانة التي تليق به في مصاف الأمم الكبيرة والعظيمة .. فلقد كان نجاح دولة الإمارات نابع من الجهود المخلصة والعمل الدؤوب والجاد والتوجه العقلاني والمبادئ والقيم العالية النبيلة التي ورثناها من الآباء والأجداد وهي التي بنيت عليها الدولة لتظل هي أساس النجاح الذي تحقق كما أنه بدون الاستقرار والأمن والأمان ما كان لنا أن نبني ركائز مجتمعنا الواثق الواعد فمنذ البدايات أدركنا أهمية الاعتدال والوسطية والانفتاح على العالم وتجاربه فهذه القناعات والطموحات لوطننا ولمستقبل أبنائه توارثناها وتعلمناها من آبائنا وأدركنا قيمتها وأهميتها وهي ركيزة أساسية من ركائز نجاحنا فاليوم نرى محورية هذه القيم والمبادئ في النهضة والمسيرة الخيرة لوطننا الغالي.

لذلك فإنه لا بد من الاستمرار في التركيز على هذا المنهج وهذه الرؤية إلى جانب الاستمرار في شحذ الهمم وحشد الطاقات والاستعداد للتغلب على الصعاب حتى نسلم راية الوطن للأجيال القادمة عزيزة شامـخة وتظل الأمانة التي تركها لنا الآباء والأجداد مصانة بحكمة القيادة ووحدة المواطنين.
